Srinagar, May 30, 2018 (KNO) : Taking a strong note of the prisoners plight and gross human rights violations at the hands of men in uniform, All Parties Hurriyat Conference Secretary General GH. Nabi Sumji said that present puppet government has turned the state into a hell where common people face the wrath of the Indian occupation forces and get maimed, incarcerated and humiliated day in day out.

Taking a dig on the role of the so-called chief minister as a stooge of the BJP regime, the Hurriyat leader reminded her past days when she used to shed crocodile tears on the funeral processions of the Mujahideen, today as a mere spectator of the barbaric incidents of killing the civilians, chopping off the fruit orchards, demolishing the residencies and looting the valuables by the men in uniform. Hurriyat leader also condemned the prolonging the incarceration of ailing elderly Hurriyat Leader Gh. Mohammad Khan Sopori and Mir Hafizullah in police stations of Sopore and Islamabad, respectively.

The Hurriyat leader also said that Muneeb Ahmad Bhat S/o Gh. Hassan Bhat has been arrested by SOG of Kulgam on flimsy grounds, which is a grave violation of human rights.
